Andy Traub is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and has worked in human resources with an emphasis in talent management and acquisition since 1997. His vast range of experience includes: recruiting and managing 200+ front line associates for a specific location, recruiting executive level talent for medium and large corporations and overseeing national recruiting programs. This corporate employment experience coupled with his knowledge and implementation of disability and inclusion best practices, affords him a unique perspective to be able to design and develop disability hiring initiatives in partnership with a large cross section of corporate partners.
During his tenure at AMC Entertainment Inc., Andy implemented a wide variety of strategic recruitment initiatives, including the establishment of an international employment brand, national award winning staff and management recruitment campaigns, standardized assessments, robust applicant tracking systems, innovative onboarding processes, and created the multiple award winning AMC F.O.C.U.S. Program. a diversity program that continues to promote greater access to employing individuals with disabilities.
Andy has worked with many national employers (Google, Best Buy, Walgreens, Office Depot, Toys“R”Us, Sodexo, Starbucks and Kroger to name a few) and has been able to lead innovative projects designed to allow employers to realize the full potential of disability hiring initiatives. Over the past two years he has actively consulted with the National Organization on Disability (NOD) and co-authored NOD’s Tracker- an innovative self-assessment tool for employers to evaluate their own disability and veterans hiring initiatives.
Traub has been invited to present to White House staffers on hiring individuals with disabilities- particularly those diagnosed with Autism. He also regularly presents at state and national and international conferences.
