Born in Granada (Spain) and studied in UK and Madrid. University degree in Business Administration (Finance major) and General Mgmt MBA at ESADE.
Isla joined IBM 1995, where she spent 8 years in the Software business in sales , including 3 years of international assignment in Italy and then became the Manager for Channel and SMB for Software business
In 2003 she moved to the lead Personal Computer business for IBM Spain & Portugal . This division was acquired by Lenovo in 2004 and she led the spin off into the new company as a General Manager until end of 2007
She moved into an international position as Director of Strategy and Business Operations for Europe. And in 2011 was promoted to the position of Executive Director Business Transformation for Western Europe, US , Australia & Japan to lead strategic transformation changes.
Since may 2012, Executive Director of the EMEA Project mgmt Office and Business Transformation , leading the new business model implementation, turnaround strategic change (efficiency and productivity), and Post Merger Management for EMEA for the local and international acquisitions.
She is an integral part of social responsibility projects and also supports talent development in collaboration with her former business school.
