Cory Olicker Henkel joined NOD in August 2012 as Director of Finance and Administration. She became Chief Operating Officer of the Organization in February 2013. Before joining NOD, Ms. Henkel spent five years as the Administrative Director of the International Early Lung Cancer Action Program (I-ELCAP). She managed all administrative, financial, compliance and operational aspects of I-ELCAP, a consortium of 50 medical institutions around the world that conducts research into early lung cancer detection by CT screening. Her prior professional experience includes more than ten years in financial consulting and investment banking at Kidder, Peabody & Co. Inc. Ms. Henkel is a founding trustee of the Rett Syndrome Research Foundation, and currently serves on the board of directors of AHRC New York City, a $250 million not-for-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She is a graduate of Yale College and earned her Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Duke University.
