Karen Friedman is a professional communication coach and speaker who heads Karen Friedman Enterprises in Philadelphia. Her techniques to help business professionals become more powerful persuasive communicators have been applied on four continents including travels with former First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton where she provided media and political training for women from emerging democracies. Friedman is the author of the best-selling book Shut Up and Say Something: Business Communication Strategies to Overcome Challenges and Influence Listeners (Praeger Publishing) and a columnist for the Philadelphia Business Journal. She is a former television news reporter---last stop ABC TV Philadelphia for 12 years--- and is the winner of Enterprising Women’s prestigious Woman of the Year award.
