Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Government Solutions Group
Mark Schultz is General Counsel for the Technical Services and Information Technology segment of SAIC. Schultz will serve as executive vice president and general counsel for the planned company to be named SAIC following the company's planned separation into two independent, publicly traded companies.
Prior to joining SAIC, Mark served as chief legal and risk officer for MWH Global, headquartered in Broomfield, Colorado. At MWH, Mark was responsible for all legal aspects of the global organization, including corporate governance, contracts, claims and litigation, risk and insurance, ethics and compliance.
Before joining MWH in May 2012, Mark spent almost four years as general counsel and corporate secretary of SRA International, Inc., an information management and management consulting firm based in the Washington, D.C. area. Previously, Schultz oversaw legal efforts for Raytheon’s Missile Systems business as vice president and general counsel. He was also a partner for global law firms Sidley Austin and Perkins Coie in Japan and the U.S.
Schultz earned a bachelor’s degree, summa cum laude, in economics and foreign service from Alma College in Alma, Mich. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School and was a member of the Harvard Law Review. Schultz specializes in technology, finance, international, government contracts and corporate governance and is admitted in New York, Washington and Colorado.
