Sioux Thompson

Ms. Thompson is the head of Organization Development and Learning for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in Washington, DC where she oversees management development, succession planning, strategic planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives. For the past twenty-five years, Ms. Thompson has held positions in organizational development, learning and development, HR, and talent management in corporate, quasi-governmental, and non-profit organizations. Prior to joining the Board of Governors, Ms. Thompson served as managing director and head of global organization development and talent management for Legg Mason and Co. in Baltimore, a global asset management firm. While there, she worked closely with company leaders to develop the firm’s vision, values, and brand strategy education process, as well as managing the culture change work for several global acquisitions. Ms. Thompson holds a master’s degree in human resources and organizational development from the University of San Francisco and a bachelor of arts in English and education from Whittier College.
