Tim Goodman

Tim joined Hermes in January 2008. He is an Associate Director within Hermes Equity Ownership Services’ (EOS) engagement team and heads the North American  engagement team. EOS provides a global company voting and engagement services for the BT Pension Scheme, Hermes’ ultimate owner, as well as a number of pension funds from around the world. He was until recently the chairman of the UK’s Quoted Companies Alliance’s corporate governance committee and co-author of its Remuneration Committee Guide, Corporate Governance Guidelines and Audit Committee guide. He is also a regular speaker on governance related issues. Before joining Hermes, Tim worked in the insurance industry for a number of years where he held a number of senior operational management roles before spending seven years in the company secretariat of a UK listed company. He is an associate of Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, obtaining the institute prize for the best overall performance when he qualified.
