Sherlin Nair is a research associate in human capital at The Conference Board and supports research efforts focusing on leadership development, talent management, executive coaching, and employee engagement. Nair also co-authored a chapter on the rise of internal coaching in The Center for Creative Leadership Handbook of Coaching in Organizations (2015). She has also published research reports which include: Global Executive Coaching 2016, Future-Skilling Your Workforce, Strategic Leadership Development Report 2013, Executive Coaching 2012, and Happiness at Work.
Sherlin has a decade of management experience in business operations and training with global organizations like GE Capital, Dell International Services, and Dale Carnegie Training. She has also served on the board of directors for the Association for Talent Development (formerly ASTD) New York Chapter for over three years.
Sherlin is a current doctoral student in organizational learning and leadership at Columbia University, and also has a postmaster’s degree from New York University in adult education and workplace learning.
