Fabrice Hénard

Fabrice Hénard has been working for more than 15 years in the field of evaluation and quality in higher education. Fabrice has carried out a vast number of evaluations of universities and educational and skills policies as well as international comparative reviews at the OECD progamme on higher education (IMHE). He has been specifically project manager of the "Quality Teaching in Higher Education" initiative, focusing on quality improvement and university-business cooperation in teaching, skills and innovation strategies. In the framework of the OECD-led Assessment of Higher Education Learning Outcomes (AHELO, involving 200+ institutions over 17 countries).Fabrice has published several OECD guides and international reviews, including the Review of Postsecondary VET in Denmark and an OECD Quality Teaching Practical Guide (2012).
Before joining the OECD, Fabrice was an evaluation officer at the French Evaluation Agency for Research and Higher Education where he carried out institutional audits and reviews across the European Higher Education Area. From 1999 to 2003, he was a senior consultant in evaluation and policy design at EUREVAL-Centre for European Evaluation & Expertise (1998-2003).
A French native, Fabrice graduated from Sciences Po-Paris and holds a Master's Degree in Urban Policy from Sciences Po. From January 2013 onwards, Fabrice will launch Learning Avenue (www.learningavenue.fr), a strategy consultancy specialising in educational, skills and quality policies.
