Gabriella Giglio

Gabriella first joined American Express in 1982 and has had a portfolio career with the Company, mainly in the Human Resource Department, but she has worked in Risk Management and Operations.  With postings in Europe, Hong Kong and New York, Gabriella has had the opportunity to experience multi-location roles.

In her current role, Gabriella's responsibilities, and those of her team circle the globe, providing Human Resource partnership and expertise across the areas of Executive Talent Planning, International Human Resources & Global Employee Relations, Executive Recruitment, Training & Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Organization Effectiveness, Research & Development and Global Leadership Development.  Gabriella is also Senior Human Resource Relationship Leader to the Vice Chairman and associated lines of business, including Global Merchant Services, Risk Information Management, Global Banking, Global Network Services, International Consumer Services, Consumer Travel Network, US Consumer Services, OPEN and Digital Partnerships & Development.

Prior to joining the corporate life, Gabriella was a dancer in an Israeli Dance Troupe, based in New York, called Sadot and worked with autistic children on dance movement. Until recently, Gabriella sat on the Board at Sadler’s Wells in London and is a member of the New York City Ballet.

Gabriella has an MA in Educational Psychology from Columbia University, USA and a BA in Industrial Psychology from New York University, USA.  Gaby and her husband, Steven relocated back to New York City in September of 2009, from London where they had lived for 6 years.
