Alice Avellanet is Manager, Diversity and Inclusion at the McGraw-Hill Companies. Her chief responsibility is leading the organization’s
global Mentoring Programs, including one-to-one, business group and reverse
mentoring programs. Additionally, Alice
is actively involved in managing and executing key strategic Diversity &
Inclusion initiatives that help foster cultural awareness, increase employee
engagement and drive business growth. Alice joined the McGraw-Hill
Companies in 2002 and held roles in Marketing and Communications as well as Employee
Engagement and Diversity at Standard & Poor’s before moving to the
corporate office in 2010. Prior to joining S&P, Alice served in various roles in hospitality
management and event planning.
Aliceis on the Board of Directors for The LifeMoxie Mentoring Council and also serves as a member on
The Conference Board Diversity & Inclusion Council.
Aliceholds a Bachelors degree in Liberal Arts from San FranciscoState
University and a Culinary Arts and
Hospitality Management certification from Seattle Central
