Michael C. Liley has more than 20 years of professional experience in all aspects of Human Resources and Learning & Development at the national, European and global level. For the past nine years he has led global Talent Management and HR Performance Improvement efforts with the aim to create a Leading People Culture at Ernst & Young - which will be supported by a highly effective and efficient HR function. One of his key interests as Global HR Director has been to explore how people drive business success, including all aspects of employee engagement, and to use this knowledge to drive business performance. Michael, who began his professional career as a trainer and consultant, has recently started to return to working with external clients. He advises Ernst & Young's clients on Talent Management and HR matters.
