Mallika Shakya is a postdoctoral fellow at Department of International Development, University of Oxford. She developed and worked on the export competitiveness initiative of The World Bank from 2006 to 2009. Shakya’s geographic assignments have included southern and western Africa as well as southern and eastern Asia in the areas of state-business relations, international trade and competitiveness, industrial clusters, and competitiveness. Her work has been published in various academic journals, as well as practitioners’ platforms. Shakya has a doctorate degree from London School of Economics.
