Ms. Nobles was promoted to chief ethics and compliance officer and senior vice president of enterprise risk management, and became a member of the executive committee in April 2009.  She was named vice president of compliance and enterprise risk management and chief compliance officer in June 2007.  She previously served as vice president of corporate affairs beginning in June 2003. Ms. Nobles received a bachelor’s degree summa cum laude in anthropology from Harvard College in 1978.  She received a master’s degree from Harvard University in 1979 in anthropology and a doctor of laws degree magna cum laude from Georgetown University in 1984.  Prior to joining Lilly in 1990 as manager of public affairs, Ms. Nobles was in private legal practice and also served in senior regulatory and policy positions in state government.  Ms. Nobles is a member of the board of directors for Citizens Energy Group, the National Urban League and the Ethics and Compliance Officers Association.  She is on the board of governors for Riley Children’s Foundation and on the advisory board of the Women’s Fund of Central Indiana.  She is also a member of the Committee of 200.
