The Conference Board
Ellen Hexter is senior advisor, enterprise risk management at The Conference Board. She has served on the faculty of The Conference Board Directors’ Institute and worked with boards to provide director training in risk management practices and the role of the board in ERM oversight. She currently manages five councils at The Conference Board, including the European and US Strategic Risk Management Councils.
Hexter is principal of Hexter & Company, a risk consulting firm. Prior to joining The Conference Board, she worked as an equity securities analyst for Cowen & Co. and Deutsche Bank in New York. Her career on Wall Street also included positions as a corporate credit analyst and a mergers and acquisitions specialist. Hexter received an AB from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Cleveland State University.
