Brian Bolton is an assistant professor of finance at the University of New Hampshire. He has an MBA from the University of Texas and Ph.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Most of his research studies various areas of corporate governance, and his work has been published in the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, Columbia Law Review, Journal of Corporate Finance, as well as other journals. Bolton’s work has been cited by numerous media and other sources, including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and the U.S. Department of Treasury. Prior to entering academia, Bolton spent several years at both a private equity firm and a consulting firm, and he has served on the board of a non-profit organization helping families affected by cancer.
