Heidi Steiger is a certified executive coach, which perfectly complements her more than three decades of C-suite and board experience. She has hired and developed high performing teams and coached them for success within medium to large corporations. Having coached CEOs and other senior managers, Heidi prepares executives for their first board role. She also works with ambitious entrepreneurs, guiding them through a proven, multi-step methodology, and stays with them for as long as they need her during their journey to their definition of success or the future sale of their business.

From November 2010-April 2015, Heidi was East Region President for the Private Bank of US Bank. In this role, she was responsible for changing the culture and sales teams at the bank. She also had P&L responsibility and set goals for fee and interest income. She led a high achieving group of experienced professionals across all wealth management disciplines, investment management and trust services, deposits, lending and financial planning. As a member of the executive management committee, she played a pivotal role in the strategy, opened a trust company in Florida, and held the first, highly successful CEO conference.

Between 2004 and 2010, Ms. Steiger held various roles during her non-compete period, including investment banker at Berkshire Securities and President of a 100-year-old family office.

From January 1986-April 2003, Ms. Steiger built and ran the private client business of Neuberger & Berman, ultimately representing 70% of firm revenues and leading its IPO in 1999. While there, she opened 13 branch offices, hired and ran a national sales force and formed three state-chartered trust companies, of which two were merged into a national trust company. Heidi introduced open architecture to the firm and completed a number of acquisitions and liftouts. During its joint venture with BNP, Ms. Steiger represented the firm at board meetings, which were conducted in French. Additionally, she ran the firm’s foundation, its marketing and the firm’s renowned art collection consisting of more than 500 pieces of art.

Heidi has been involved with numerous philanthropic organizations in the art world throughout her career, including as a founder of the Associate Business Committee at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and a board member of the Houston Museum of Fine Arts, the Walker Art Museum in Minneapolis and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Miami. She is a past president of the Financial Women’s Association in New York as well as a board member of the Women’s Forum of New York. She also served on the boards of Fountain House and Accion International.

From Jan 2018-April 2019, she was a guest lecturer at the Poole Business School of North Carolina State University. She has owned a vineyard in Mendoza, Argentina since June 2017.

Ms.Steiger graduated from Boston College and holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia University, a certificate in Cybersecurity Oversight from Carnegie Mellon, and a Leadership and Performance Coaching Certificate from Brown University.

She published Wealthy & Wise: Secrets About Money in 2002. It was voted by Barron’s as one of the best investment books of the year.
