Dr. Hana Shin is the Head of Global Mental Well-Being Strategy at Johnson & Johnson and a clinical psychologist licensed to practice in California and New York. At Johnson & Johnson, she is responsible for the development and evolution of employee mental well-being strategy and implementation that positively impacts the total health of J&J employees and leaders across the globe.

Prior to joining J&J, Dr. Shin served 12 years with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), providing direct service to military Veterans and families, program administration and evaluation of mental health services across multiple health care systems, and academic clinical teaching and training programs. She has consulted for nongovernmental organizations across the globe with a focus on mental health disparities among communities recovering from complex trauma exposure. Her clinical research publication record is in the areas of health care utilization and trauma recovery across the lifespan.

Dr. Shin completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Fuller Graduate School of Psychology (APA- accredited). Outside of her role at J&J, she maintains a faculty appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor (Affiliated) at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School Department of Psychiatry.
