Erin Bittenbender is currently Head of Global Employee Health & Well-being for Johnson & Johnson. Erin and her team are at the forefront of crafting and implementing innovative strategies to ensure comprehensive employee well-being, covering mental health, physical health, nutrition, and movement. She also leads a dedicated team of Occupational Health experts committed to maintaining a safe and secure work environment for Johnson & Johnson employees.

Erin has been part of the Human Resources function within Johnson & Johnson for 24 years. Before assuming her current position, which is very much aligned to her tremendous passion for well-being, Erin was the Head of HR for Global HR & Americas Enterprise Functions. During this time, Erin provided strategic Business Unit Human Resources (BUHR) support to the HR Executive Committee and drove the talent agenda for the Global HR function. She also led the BUHR teams supporting the Enterprise Functions in Canada and LATAM. Erin’s extensive HR experience also includes a significant tenure supporting the Commercial and R&D organizations within Johnson & Johnson’s Innovative Medicine business. Erin provided business partner support to these organizations and also served as a talent director for the Commercial organization. Erin excelled in developing and executing talent strategies focused on leadership transitions, coaching, organization design, and innovative commercial models.

Before joining J&J, Erin worked in Human Resources for the IT Consulting industry in Pittsburgh. She holds a dual degree in Business and Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.

Outside of her professional life, Erin enjoys spending quality time with their husband and two boys, often watching their baseball games or enjoying family time on the golf course. Erin is also an avid reader and can often be found riding her Peloton.
