Eric Stine is the Chief Executive Officer of Sitecore. He has spent 25 years leading enterprise software companies and disruptive innovators to grow at scale, accelerate market expansion, and attract and retain the world’s most respected brands.

Additionally, Eric is an active Board member and advisor, an investor and philanthropist, and a Tony Award-winning Broadway producer.

Eric was most recently Chief Operating Officer at Sitecore, building momentum across the company’s go-to-market organization, including pre-sales, sales, customer success, alliances, and the operations, professional services, support and ecosystem organizations. Under his leadership, Sitecore’s AI-enabled platform for delivering powerful digital experiences significantly expanded, with a 100% increase in global revenues and a deepening of the partner ecosystem. Eric’s impact as COO on driving sustained revenue growth and aligning teams around customer success laid a powerful foundation for Sitecore’s next chapter.

Before joining Sitecore, Eric was Chief Executive Officer of Elemica, the leading supply chain network for process manufacturer. Previously, he was Chief Commercial Officer of Skillsoft, the leader in corporate digital learning, and Chief Revenue Officer of Qualtrics, the category-creator and market leader in experience management. Prior to that, Eric served as Chief Innovation Officer of SAP, where he led the first end-to-end transformation of the customer engagement model in nearly two decades, and General Manager of the Financial Services market for SAP Americas. Eric has also held executive roles at companies such as Exeter, Ciber, and Blackboard.

Eric’s career has enabled him to work with some of the world’s most iconic companies, brands and organizations, including Royal Dutch Shell, JPMorgan Chase, Microsoft, PepsiCo, Samsung, Verizon, Johns Hopkins University & Health System, and Pirelli, as they’ve undertaken enterprise transformations. 

A graduate of Northwestern University and Boston University’s School of Law, Eric is a licensed attorney and a member of the United States Supreme Court Bar Association. He serves on the leadership councils of Yale New Haven Health, Broadway Cares, and the Boston University President’s Council. A patron of the theater, Eric is a Tony Award-winning producer of the 2024 Best Musical, The Outsiders, co-produced with Angelina Jolie. Eric and his husband, Neil, live in Connecticut with their twins, Nicholas and Noelle, and beloved dogs, Scooter and Jack. Eric is still trying to break a 7.5-minute mile.
