ELLEN KULLMAN serves as Chairman of Carbon since 2022. She was CEO of Carbon from 2019-2022. Kullman was formerly Chair of the Board and CEO of DuPont from January 2009 to October 2015. Prior to her 27-year career at DuPont, she worked for Westinghouse and General Electric.

She is a member of the boards of directors of Carbon, Dell Technologies, Amgen and Goldman Sachs. She is also a member of the National Academy of Engineering and the Council on Foreign Relations, and she is past chair of the U.S.-China Business Council. She serves on the board of Trustees of Northwestern University.

A native of Wilmington, Delaware, Kullman holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Tufts University and a master’s degree in management from Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University.
