As Chief Operating Officer for Vitality Group, Elizabeth is responsible for all client and member-facing aspects of the Vitality program. She oversees areas of operations, including account and implementation management, billing administration, strategic initiatives, training, and the call center and is the Executive Sponsor of the SoWell team, a group focused on creating a healthy working community of engaged and connected employees at Vitality.
Elizabeth joined Vitality in 2000, and during her tenure she has worked in all aspects of operations. Prior to her current role as COO, Elizabeth served as the Senior Vice President of Operations, where she was responsible for program implementation, account management, billing administration, partner development and partner relations, and customer support. She also played a pivotal part in establishing and upholding market-leading employer and member engagement of the Vitality program from implementation to administration.
Elizabeth has spearheaded countless business initiatives, including developing the Vitality Champs program, which encourages engagement in health and wellbeing benefits through peer-led initiatives, designing and executing a comprehensive suite of member education tools which comprise web-based, audio, and print product tutorials to enhance member experience, and leading Vitality’s consumer-driven integrations with strategic partners such as Aetna and Best Buy.
Prior to joining Vitality, Elizabeth worked in the health plan and provider space, giving her over 20+ years of experience in the health and wellbeing industry, and making her an expert in helping clients easily navigate the process of incorporating a wellness component to their existing health and benefits plan. As a trusted and knowledgeable leader, Elizabeth is a valuable resource for HR and benefit executives from all industries and geographies for her guidance and expertise in designing successful employee initiatives.
Elizabeth is a mentor, wife, mother, caregiver, and strong advocate for equity and community. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Valley Sheltered Workshop, an organization that provides job opportunities to individuals with disabilities, has a passion for outdoor activities, and firmly believes that people are our greatest asset.
