Former Managing Director of Corporate Citizenship, Deloitte
After a 35-year career in professional services, talent management, and social impact leadership, Doug recently retired from Deloitte. Prior to his retirement, he served as Deloitte’s U.S. Purpose and Sports leader, where he spearheaded initiatives in sustainability, diversity and inclusion, and athlete support for the International Olympic Committee and the Paris Olympic Games 2024. Previously, he held the position of National Managing Director of Corporate Citizenship for Deloitte. In that capacity, Doug led the Deloitte team responsible for overseeing social impact partnerships, corporate philanthropy, volunteer engagement, and pro bono programs — with a goal of catalyzing positive impact in our communities. Primary focus areas included education, workforce development, health equity, financial inclusion, and sustainability.
Doug also brings over two decades of consulting and firm leadership experience from Monitor Group, a global strategy consulting firm acquired by Deloitte in 2013. As a partner in the business strategy and human capital practices, he led client relationships across multiple industries in the U.S. and Europe. Internally, Doug served on Monitor’s global executive team as Global Chief Talent Officer and subsequently as Global Chief Administrative and Operating Officer. Following Monitor’s acquisition by Deloitte, Doug led the global integration of the Deloitte and Monitor strategy practices before transitioning to lead Corporate Citizenship. Doug continues to direct his energy to the intersection of business strategy, social impact, and sustainability. He currently serves on the board of Fiduciary Trust Charitable Foundation and Strong Girls United Inc. Additionally, Doug is a Governance & Sustainability Center Fellow at The Conference Board.
Born in Trinidad, Doug was raised in the United Kingdom and Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University and an MBA from INSEAD. Doug currently resides in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
