David Zwillinger is the Chief Executive Officer of DESRI, which he co-founded in 2010. David previously was a Managing Director of D.E. Shaw group, which he joined in 2005 and resigned from upon DESRI’s operational separation from the D. E. Shaw group in 2025. David was previously an Associate at J.P. Morgan Partners, LLC. Prior to this, he was a member of the mergers and acquisitions group at Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rutgers College and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Rutgers Business School.
