Dan Roalkvam is Executive Director of the McDonald’s Licensees and RMHC Health & Welfare Plan. In this role, Dan is responsible for the health plan and other franchisee benefit programs.  Dan is also a board member of the McDonald’s Owner Operator Insurance Company (MOOIC).  Additionally, he sponsors the National Operators Insurance Team (NOIT) and oversees franchisee strategy and compliance efforts with respect to the ACA and other health care legislation.

Dan has over 27 years of insurance experience, transitioning in 2023 to supporting the franchisees directly after spending the prior 17 years as the Senior Director of Insurance for McDonald’s Corporation.  Prior to joining McDonald’s, he worked as consultant at Aon, Willis Towers Watson, and KPMG, all in Chicago.

Dan graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and now resides in suburban Atlanta.
