In this role, Damon leads the Global Communications function’s efforts to advance P&G’s growth strategy, while building and protecting the image and reputation of one of the world’s largest consumer goods companies and its portfolio of industry-leading brands. Spanning more than 170 countries, this work includes brand and corporate communications, digital and social media, influencer and stakeholder engagement, issues advocacy and crisis management.

A trusted advisor to the C-suite, Damon has a proven track record of leveraging reputation and relationships to drive brand and business success across the world. During his nearly 30-year career with P&G, he has had responsibility for a diverse set of geographic, organizational and product portfolios – with assignments in Cincinnati, Boston, Geneva, London and Singapore – leading local, regional and global businesses and operations.

Damon has been recognized within the consumer goods industry and beyond for his leadership in developing and nurturing creative, advocacy-based campaigns inspired by deep human and cultural insights that position P&G’s brands to authentically win with consumers and communities around the world. These programs have been broadly positively acknowledged for their creativity, inspiration and impact – including multiple Silver Anvils, Cannes Lions and Primetime Commercial Emmy awards and nominations.

Following his passion for civic and community engagement, Jones took a leave of absence to serve as the Communications Director for the 2008 Democratic National Convention. He remains active as a Board member and strategic advisor to numerous professional, cultural and advocacy organizations.
