Cristiano is a Geographer (University of Southampton), with a master's degree in Population and Development from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), he has been working with sustainability for over 17 years.

He started his professional career as a consultant at AccountAbility, having worked at Fibria Celulose. He is currently Executive Manager of Corporate Sustainability at Suzano, being responsible for the development and management of the company's sustainability strategy and for internalizing sustainability within the processes and relationships with stakeholders.
