Courtney serves as a senior health and benefits strategist in the business and has senior leadership responsibilities for Willis Towers Watson Health & Benefit global and North America business. She leads the Insights & Commercialization function which oversees strategy and specialties for H&B. These areas include Compliance & Audit, Health/Equity/Wellbeing (HEW), Pharmacy, Group Benefits, and Commercialization. The teams of experts within each of these areas form the backbone of the innovation, solution-building, content-creation, and intellectual capital WTW H&B supplies to our clients and our consultants in the field.

Courtney has leveraged her experience as a health actuary into many roles over her 30-year career in consulting. She has led our Solutions function, Health Care Delivery area, and Financial Strategy for the H&B group marketplace, among other things. The foundation of her career is benefits consulting experience working with clients on strategic aspects of their health and welfare plan offerings including data analytics, employee enablement, high value interventions, and related financial expectations. 

Courtney has experience working with employers across many industries facing different priorities and challenges. She has extensive experience with oil and gas, technology, retail, hospitality, and health care companies. Some of her areas of specialization include health care innovation, value-based care approaches, financial and clinical outcome evaluation of health care delivery models, member experience, and retiree medical programs.

Education and Credentials

Courtney earned a B.A. degree in mathematics with a concentration in actuarial science from The University of Texas at Austin. She is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries, and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
