Christine has spent over 25 years working in Washington DC on health, human services, and education policy. She is currently the Associate Director for Research and Policy for the STOP Obesity Alliance at the Milken Institute School of Public Health at the George Washington University. Her research on obesity treatment and coverage has been published in the journal Obesity. She has a Master’s in Public Affairs from the University of Texas’ LBJ School of Public Affairs. 

Christine also serves as the Coordinator for the Obesity Care Advocacy Network (OCAN). OCAN is a coalition of 40 organizations formed as an advocacy network to change how we perceive and approach obesity in the U.S. OCAN works to increase access to evidence-based obesity treatments by uniting key stakeholders and the broader obesity community around significant education, policy and legislative efforts.
