Carolyn Cavicchio, director of corporate responsibility and vice president of the S&P Global Foundation, has a significant background in creating, transforming, and implementing philanthropic, nonprofit, and employee engagement programs. She recently joined S&P Global from Colorado Women's College at the University of Denver; prior to that, she served as Interim VP of programs and special assistant to the president at the Ms. Foundation for Women.

In the corporate sector, she was senior director of stakeholder engagement for the Western Union Foundation and a senior researcher at The Conference Board’s Center for Corporate Citizenship & Sustainability.  Before joining The Conference Board in 2007, Carolyn founded and led the philanthropy division at Changing Our World, an Omnicom agency based in NYC.  As a loaned executive, she also served as deputy director of the Twin Towers Fund, serving the families of the rescue workers killed on 9/11.  With experience in a variety of senior roles, she is a national expert in CSR, corporate community involvement, and philanthropic programs, and is a highly-skilled strategic planner, facilitator, and program developer.

She has also served as an adjunct professor at NYU's Heyman Center for Philanthropy and is a board member of several national nonprofit organizations.   She is delighted to be working with The Conference Board once again as chair/program director of the 2018 Corporate Philanthropy Conference.
