Brian is the Chief Operating Officer at Disability:IN, the leading nonprofit resource for business disability inclusion worldwide. Together with the world’s leading companies, Disability:IN drives progress through initiatives, tools, and expertise that deliver long-term business impact. Since joining in 2015, Brian has been a driving force behind the organization’s growth and evolution—leading efforts in strategic planning, brand transformation, internal infrastructure development, and policy engagement. He brings a dynamic leadership style that connects strategy with execution, empowering teams across functions—from shaping brand narratives and strengthening stakeholder relationships to driving innovation and organizational governance.

Prior to joining Disability:IN, Brian built a strong foundation in public affairs and policy. He worked at GYMR Public Relations, advising mission-driven organizations on communications and media strategy. Earlier, at the Council on Foundations, he served on the Public Policy and Legal Affairs team, representing the philanthropic sector on Capitol Hill and with federal agencies. He also worked in the office of U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer and several congressional campaigns.

He previously served on the board of Pride and Less Prejudice and the Capital Pride Alliance, and he currently serves on the Advisory Council for the NextGen Chamber of Commerce.

Brian holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and American studies from Hobart College and was named a “Top 40 LGBTQ Leader Under 40” by BEQ Pride Magazine in 2018.
