Dr. Brandi Derr is Director for the Leadership PsyD program at William James College, as well as Leadership PsyD Core Faculty. She is a founding member and Senior Consultant for The Iris Group, LLC where she supports leadership, team and organizational development and change for organizations across the United States. She currently serves on the board of directors for LGBTQ Senior Housing Inc.

Dr. Derr has previously served as the Director of Programs for Rogerson Communities, Adult Day Health Programs, Director of Community Partnerships and Outreach for the Institute for Black and African American Mental Health, Clinician for Pyramid Builders, Inc., Director of Human Resources for Pathways Hospice, Program Director for Community Resources for Justice, and Residential Director for Germaine Lawrence, Inc.

Dr. Derr holds a PsyD in Leadership Psychology from William James College, with a focus on: Mentorship, Public Narrative and Black, female leadership capacity-building. She is an ICF certified ACC Leadership and Performance Coach. She also holds an MEd in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Trauma Studies.
