Bob Bleimeister currently serves as program director for The Conference Board's Human Capital Analytics Council. He brings to this role over 30 years of experience as a military and business transformation leader, HR professional, and management consultant  He has a reputation for creating and executing global change programs that exceed expectations and business results. Known for solving complex problems and inspiring a broad network of colleagues, Bleimeister has built collaborative teams based on transparency, honesty, respect, and a sense of humor.

In addition to his work for the Conference Board, Bleimeister is a management consultant focused on helping government and commercial clients design and execute large HR transformation programs. He also advises several HR start-ups and teaches organizational leadership at Norwich University. From 2010 through early 2015, Bleimeister was vice president, global HR transformation, for American International Group (AIG), responsible for designing and implementing a global HR organization capable of supporting AIG’s businesses with 60,000 employees in 60 countries. 

Prior to joining AIG, Bleimeister was a senior executive with the US Army in Washington DC, where he helped assess and incubate multiple business transformation programs across finance, HR, procurement, and technology functions. Earlier in his career, Bleimeister was a human capital consulting partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers and then IBM. In these roles he helped lead holistic HR transformation programs for multiple clients including Pfizer, Ford Motor Company, the US Air Force, and Hewlett Packard.  Bleimeister started his career as an army officer, eventually retiring as a lieutenant colonel. Bleimeister received an MBA in management from Columbia University and a BS in industrial engineering from the United States Military Academy, West Point.
