April is Chief Strategy Officer at SkillsRight, a national non-profit that empowers organizations to adopt skills-first strategies that unlock opportunity, strengthen their workforce and drive better decisions and impact. She leads the organization’s Strategy & Growth function, which is responsible for long-term strategic planning, labor market and user research, impact measurement and thought leadership.

In her role, April oversees cross-functional initiatives that guide SkillsRight’s employer and talent-facing strategies. Her team partners with corporations, academic institutions and community organizations to surface actionable insights, monitor employer and talent sentiments, and position SkillsRight as a trusted authority in human capital strategy and skills-based practices.

Prior to SkillsRight, April built a career spanning both startups and large-scale enterprises, honing operational execution and leadership skills.

April holds a BA from Claremont McKenna College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She is based in Chicago, IL.
