Anthony Reyes is Senior Economic Policy Analyst at the Committee for Economic Development, the public policy center of The Conference Board (CED). Previously, Anthony served in the Biden-Harris Administration as Deputy Assistant United States Trade Representative (Acting) in the Executive Office of the President. In this role, he focused on implementing the president’s trade policy agenda and strategically engaging with stakeholders on behalf of the administration.

Prior to this, Anthony worked for nearly half a decade in the United States Senate as a legislative aide for Senator Chris Murphy. During this time, he worked on issues including U.S. foreign policy, national security, immigration, government reform, and the federal appropriations process. Earlier in his career, Anthony worked in the non-profit community, on federal and state campaigns, and in a trade association.

Originally from Miami, Florida, Anthony holds a Master of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida. He remains active in the non-profit space, having served on non-profit boards and volunteering for organizations focused on the advancement of the Asian American Pacific Islander community.
