A 30-year veteran of Xerox who led the company through a massive
transformation - reinventing Xerox into an innovative technology and
services enterprise while serving as Chairman and CEO (2001-2010).
Responsible for an aggressive multibillion-dollar turnaround plan that
returned Xerox to profitability and growth through relentless focus on
helping businesses deploy smarter document management strategies that
deliver better ways to work. Career at Xerox began as a field sales
representative in 1976, followed by increasingly responsible senior
management positions. Appointed Chief of Staff in 1997 and General
Markets President in 1999.

Currently serving on the Johnson & Johnson board, having been lead
director from 2012 to 2024. Chair of Graham Holdings and chair of the
compensation committee. Board member of LPL Financial and chair of the nom & gov committee. Previous board service includes Target and
Citigroup.

In the non-profit sector, Chair Emeritus of Save the Children and Chair of
The Nature Conservancy of Connecticut —currently an Executive in
Residence at Harvard University.
