As Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer at EXL, Anita Mahon leads the company’s enterprise growth strategy, guiding how EXL defines and executes its vision for data and AI across industries. She plays a pivotal role in shaping EXL’s enterprise priorities - aligning investments, offerings, and innovation to accelerate growth and strengthen competitive leadership. She also works across EXL’s businesses to shape and scale AI-powered solutions that address clients’ most complex challenges, transforming how organizations leverage data and AI to accelerate outcomes, enhance decision-making, and realize strategic value.

Anita joined EXL in 2020 as Chief Growth and Strategy Officer, and from 2022 to 2025, served as Global Business Head of Health, where she led EXL’s payer, provider, and life sciences portfolio, to deliver significant client impact and business growth. Before joining EXL, she held senior positions in corporate strategy, M&A, business leadership and technology at IBM Watson, Truven Health Analytics, Thomson Reuters and Ericsson.

As a strong advocate for women in leadership and inclusion in business, Anita serves as Executive Sponsor of the Women @ EXL Leadership Forum and supports initiatives that promote an inclusive and collaborative culture across the organization. Anita holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, an MS in Computer Science from Columbia University, and a BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Manhattan University.
