Angela Bailey is a former Senior Fellow, Human Capital for The Conference Board. Angie began her career with the Social Security Administration and over the next 40 years, she earned a BA and MA in leadership and ultimately became a Senior Executive in 2007 and the Chief Human Capital Officer with the Department of Homeland Security in January 2016.

She also worked for the Department of Defense as a Labor Employee Relations Officer and Human Resources Director and within the US Office of Personnel Management in a variety of executive positions, including as the Chief Operating Officer. Most recently, Angie retired from federal service in 2022, and founded AnandaLife, LLC. Utilizing her lived experiences along with her passion to elevate the human experience, she is “paying it forward” by sharing her knowledge, insight, and life experiences on achieving personal and professional leadership excellence, becoming an innovation catalyst, and finding coherence of mind, body, and spirit.

Ms. Bailey has been recognized with Presidential Rank Awards by two administrations. She served as a Board of Trustee for the United States Coast Guard Academy and is currently an Executive SAGE for the Partnership for Public Service, a National Association of Public Administration Fellow, and on the Board of Directors for Dependable Holdings.
