Ami has led the total rewards functions for several large organizations across various industries including:  manufacturing, fast moving consumer goods, technology, commercial real estate and beer.  Prior to joining Fortune Brands, she was a part of leadership teams at SC Johnson, Globalfoundries, Jones Lang LaSalle and Molson Coors.  Her experiences include: partnering with Compensation Committees, leading redesign of executive compensation programs, leading due diligence efforts and integrating large-scale organizations post-merger or acquisition. 

She has been an active member of Inclusion & Diversity Advisory Councils, furthering companies’ efforts to create and anchor a diverse and inclusive culture. Ami also led compensation teams at TIAA-CREF and Sears (including the merger of Sears and KMart). 

Outside of total rewards, Ami has held key customer-facing operations roles at Verizon Wireless and drove processes that resulted in the company winning the JD Power Award for Customer Satisfaction.  Ami was a compensation and benefits consultant for many years before entering the corporate workplace.

She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in econometrics and a master’s in business administration with a specialization in quantitative analysis and management information systems from Loyola University.  She is also a Certified Compensation Professional, Certified Sales Compensation Professional and in 2014 received the Most Powerful and Influential Woman in Illinois Award and in 2015 the Multicultural Leadership Award.
