Amalia Maislos Stanton is the Senior Vice President, Chief Strategic Communications & Marketing Officer for Memorial Hermann Health System. In her role, Amalia oversees internal, external and strategic communications as well as web, social, marketing, advertising and branding efforts for one of the region’s largest nonprofit health systems.

Amalia brings more than 20 years of leadership experience in marketing, research, advertising, digital, social and communications. Since joining the health system, Amalia has played a significant role in driving growth and brand awareness, as well as helping to build Memorial Hermann’s reputation as a leading, trusted, high-quality health care provider in Greater Houston and across the nation.

In 2025, Amalia was named as a Texas Executive Women - Women on the Move 2025 honoree and as ‘Marketer of the Year’ honoree by Ragan Communications’ inaugural “Zenith” Awards. Additionally, she was named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s list of ‘Chief Marketing Officers to Know’ in 2023, 2024 and 2025. She was also named a 2024 Top 20 Impact Maker by CKW LUXE Magazine, was a 2023 Women-in-Medicine nominee by the Arts of Healing Foundation and named one of Modern Healthcare’s “People on the Move” in 2023.

Amalia earned her master’s degree from Syracuse University Newhouse School of Communications in Public Relations and her bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University, where she double majored in Politics, Philosophy and Law, as well as Spanish.
