Alan is VP, Global Head of Workforce Planning & Future of Work at S&P Global.  Since joining S&P Global in 2020, Alan has spent time as a People Partner, Global Head of Organizational Effectiveness supporting S&P Global’s merger with IHS Markit, and most recently running the Organizational Planning & Analytics team.

Today the Workforce Planning & Future of Work team executes a diverse portfolio of strategic HR activities including S&P’s People program mgmt., data strategy, people analytics, strategic workforce planning capabilities, change mgmt., and organizational effectiveness functions.  Alan also partners closely with peers to deliver on the People team’s transformation agenda to create a skills-based and AI-enabled organization of the future through investments in Skills-based intelligence and operating S&P’s internal talent marketplace.  Prior to S&P Global, Alan spent nearly 10 years at Fannie Mae in a variety of HR leadership roles and was also Head, Organizational Effectiveness (Talent) at CFA Institute, a global member organization for investment professionals.
