Sonya is a Senior Fellow, Human Capital and member of the Healthcare Forum Steering Committee at The Conference Board. She is an experienced Organizational Development (OD) practitioner with over 20 years of experience, specializing in the areas of Learning (instructional design, program management, and facilitation), Talent Development, Change Management, and Internal Communications.

Sonya had an extensive career as an executive in the healthcare industry and Big 4 Consulting, with over 15 years of experience as a leader. She has led Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), Internal Communications, Employee Development, and Talent Development/Coaching strategies. Leveraging her expertise as an OD practitioner, Sonya successfully built and managed strategies/programs that were unique to the organization's culture. Her approach is one of human centricity. She has developed the keen ability to strike a balance of the employee value proposition and business objectives, all while leveraging the organization’s culture to build strategies that are aligned with business and contribute to the business's success. Sonya considers herself to be a multidimensional leader. She is not afraid to roll up her sleeves and be actively involved with her teams, as she partners with them to achieve success both professionally and personally. During her tenure in Big 4 Consulting (EY), she had the opportunity to partner with the Chief Medical Officer and became one of the founders of the EY Center of Health Equity. Sonya has worked with organizations within the U.S. and globally in various industries.

Sonya currently works as an independent consultant and the owner of Provision Consulting LLC., offering clients a suite of solutions that elevate both its people and business.

She has a bachelor’s in science (Psychology) and a Master of Education (Human Resource Development) from Xavier University-Cincinnati, Certification in Business Administration from Northern Kentucky University, Certification in Executive Coaching from Georgetown University, and Certification in Change Management from PROSCI.
