Sara DeSmith

Sara leads PwC's Sustainability Assurance practice, bringing transparency and trust to the sustainability metrics that investors and other stakeholders value. She is a partner in PwC's Capital Markets Accounting Advisory Services (CMAAS) practice specializing in corporate reporting developments, M&A complex accounting, GAAP changes, US GAAP/IFRS conversion services and bankruptcy consulting.  An alumni of PwC's National Quality Organization, she recently completed a tour on the Accounting Services Group's Business Combinations team, and is a member of PwC's Global Accounting Consulting Services (GACS) network.
