Sanjiv is the Head of Human Resources (HR) for Southeast Asia & India, a role he has held since joining Swiss Re in 2016. In this role, he leads a team of diverse HR professionals across multiple geographies and is responsible for integrating, executing, as well as deploying HR strategies and solutions to support sustainable long-term growth of Swiss Re businesses.

A seasoned HR leader, Sanjiv has more than two decades of experience in operations management, HR leadership, culture transformation, risk governance, change management and people strategies. Sanjiv worked in several senior roles over a 16-year career across HSBC entities in several locations, where he was the Senior Vice President for HR prior to joining Swiss Re.

Sanjiv has been a member of several industry forums focused on areas of talent development and future of work, sponsored by prestigious industry bodies like MAS, IBF and SRA. He has also received multiple recognitions in the discipline of Human Resources including Top HR Voice in Asia and HR Manager of the year award.

Sanjiv holds a Master's in Human Resource Management from Cornell University, NY. He is also a qualified coach and holds multiple licenses for personality and ability assessments.
