Neri is a visionary strategic advisor and a capital markets and corporate reporting expert. He has over 30 years of global finance, accounting, risk and managerial cross-sector experience driving change during volatile business and regulatory cycles. Neri is the founder and an executive advisor of Metrix Advisory LLC an expert corporate reporting and communication advisory firm, the chair of the board of Rwanda Farmers Coffee Company and an Adjunct Professor at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs.

Most recently, Neri was a senior partner at EY and served as the Accounting, Reporting and Governance Leader for the Americas until his retirement in 2022. Neri advised many Fortune 500 companies on financial reporting, strategic transactions, risk management, corporate reporting and investor communications and served as EY’s Americas Long-Term Value Leader helping companies shape and enhance their financial reporting and sustainability strategies and communications. He was also a global client service partner for several large multinational companies.

Prior to his role at EY, Neri was at Standard & Poor’s where he served as the firm’s Chief Quality and Chief Risk Officer, after serving as Chief Accountant, a role in which he led the firm’s financial reporting and governance research globally. Neri was a Member of S&P’s Executive Committee and the Analytical Policy Board, he chaired the firm’s global regulatory Policy Governance Committee and championed numerous innovation and technology initiatives, including Artificial Intelligence, Sentiment Analysis and Risk Surveillance.

Neri has deep corporate governance and reporting expertise, serving both as a member and advisor to boards, audit, finance and risk committees. He has also served in prominent advisory roles to global accounting standard-setting boards and regulators including as the chair of the Financial Accounting Standards Board’s (FASB) Investors Advisory Committee, member of the FASB's Advisory Council (FASAC), the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board’s (PCAOB) Standing Advisory Group, the Accounting Standards Executive Committee of the AICPA, and as a member of the International Accounting Standards Board’s (IASB) Advisory Committee and of the Capital Markets Advisory Committee. He is a recognized thought leader, author and speaker on topics including corporate reporting, investor communications, regulatory changes, financial analysis, sustainability, credit ratings and risk.

Neri holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Business, a Master’s in Taxation from the USC Marshall School of Business and a Bachelor of Accounting and Economics from Tel Aviv University and has completed the Columbia University Business School’s Executive Management Program. He is a CPA and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.

Neri is deeply committed to creating long-term value and passionate about advancing economic development while building teams and driving key initiatives. Neri and his wife reside in New York and New Jersey and enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
