May Yap is Jabil’s Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO), overseeing global IT operations across more than 100 sites in over 25 countries. With more than 30 years of experience spanning government, consulting, technology, and manufacturing, she leads enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives that support Jabil’s digital factory ambitions, from shaping cloud-enabled ecosystems and data-driven capabilities to advancing cybersecurity, automation, and connectivity across its global operations.

Passionate about connecting technology, people, and business outcomes, May champions people-centred transformation, continuous learning, and the responsible adoption of emerging technologies. She believes the greatest value is created when technology empowers individuals to make better decisions, collaborate more effectively, and drive innovation at scale.

Recognised globally for her leadership, May is an honoree on Forbes’ CIO Next list and a recipient of IDC’s Asia Pacific and Singapore CIO of the Year awards, as well as the American Chamber of Commerce Singapore HERo Award for advancing women leaders. She holds an MBA, a Master’s degree in Computer Science, and a doctorate in Leadership and Innovation from New York University Steinhardt.
