Maree Prendergast is Global Chief People Officer at VML, where she leads talent, culture, and career management programs across the agency's global network.

With 27 years of experience, Maree brings a wealth of expertise to VML in areas including talent management, human resources, human capital consulting, executive recruitment, succession planning, and organizational design. Her career has taken her to leadership roles in New York, Chicago, Paris, and Sydney.

Before joining VML, Maree served as Chief People Officer at Wunderman Thompson. She also held global Chief Talent Officer roles at Publicis Sapient and Publicis One, and previously led talent strategy in North America for Publicis Group's PR agency, MSLGROUP.

Maree's background extends beyond the advertising industry; she worked at global human capital firms, including Korn Ferry International, partnering with clients across diverse sectors.

A native of Australia, Maree holds a B.A. in Modern Languages (Japanese & Media Studies) from the University of Canberra. Now based in New York, she's lived in numerous countries and brings a global perspective to her work.
