Debra Perry is a financial professional with broad executive and board level experience in corporate governance, risk oversight and financial analysis. She has served on the boards of six NYSE listed financial and professional services companies and two mutual fund complexes, chairing Audit, Risk, Compensation and Governance Committees.  

Ms. Perry currently serves on the Board of Assurant, Inc. (NYSE: AIZ), a Fortune 500 global specialty property casualty insurance company where she chairs the Finance & Risk Committee. In 2025, she retired from the board of Korn Ferry (NYSE: KFY), a global organizational consulting firm and leader in executive recruitment and talent management where she chaired the Audit Committee.  Until December 2024, she served on the board of the Bernstein Funds, a private client mutual fund complex sponsored by AllianceBernstein, including as chair of the Board from July 2018-June 2023.

Prior to serving on public company boards, Ms. Perry was a senior executive at Moody’s, where she managed several ratings divisions and served as Chief Administrative Officer with primary responsibility for executing the spin-off of Moody’s from the Dun & Bradstreet Corporation. Following the defaults of Enron and WorldCom, she led the recalibration of $3 trillion of corporate debt ratings and introduced numerous enhancements to Moody’s fundamental analysis, including a focus on the quality of issuers’ corporate governance and public financial reporting.  Earlier in her career, she worked in fixed income research, capital markets and multinational lending in New York, Paris, and London.  

Ms. Perry currently serves as a trustee of The Committee for Economic Development, the non-partisan public policy arm of The Conference Board, and is a member of The Economic Club of New York.  In addition, she serves on the board of the American Friends of Les Arts Florissants, the internationally acclaimed Baroque vocal and instrumental music ensemble based in Paris, France.
