Christian Odendahl is the European Economics Editor at The Economist, where he covers European economic integration, monetary and fiscal policy, and macroeconomic trends. Before joining The Economist in 2022, he served as Chief Economist at the Centre for European Reform (CER) and holds a PhD in Economics from Stockholm University.
