Charles Lim is a former Senior Fellow in Human Capital at The Conference Board and a business and organization practitioner who has life-long passion for making other people’s life better. Charles spent 25 years in Procter & Gamble (P&G), with the last 12 years leading the Human Resources function in the Asia Pacific Region, encompassing China, Japan, India, Southeast Asia and Australasia markets. He believes that every talent has potential to be an extra-ordinary leader regardless of background.

Throughout his career, he championed the development of talents in Asia to be global P&G leaders, resulting in numerous woman and Asian leaders leading in their respective home countries and global businesses, and the first-ever local Asian President in P&G Asia Pacific. Aside, from Human Resources, Charles has experiences in multiple line functions like Market Research, Marketing/Branding and Finance. For the latter, he spent 2 years starting up a division of consumer banking in a local bank in Indonesia. He believes in full integration of organization plans into business strategy to drive sustainable results and growth.

Charles is a co-founder of a couple of start-ups in the area of music and gamification of learning. He was born and educated in Indonesia, before living in 5 other countries during his work with P&G. He now lives in Singapore.
